The short version

We do not sell your data. We do not rent, share, or license it to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not run advertising, analytics, or tracking scripts on this site — there is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recorder. What you save in Raconteur exists so that you can use it.

What we store

  • Your email address and the identifier from the sign-in provider you used.
  • The content you create: trips, events, to-dos, saved places, notes, lists.
  • Operational records: activity logs of actions taken in your account, and — if you subscribe — billing status.

We never see or store payment card details. Those go directly to Stripe.

Who else processes your data

Running the product requires a handful of vendors. Each receives only what its function needs, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

ProcessorWhat it receives
SupabaseDatabase and authentication — all of the above, at rest.
VercelApplication hosting; standard request logs.
Google Maps PlatformPlace searches you perform, and the place identifiers we look up on your behalf.
OpenAIPlace names and cities, to generate descriptions and classify cuisine. Not used to train their models under our API terms.
PexelsKeyword searches for fallback place imagery.
Open-MeteoTrip destination names, to fetch a forecast.
ResendEmail addresses and message content, for transactional email only.
UpstashRate-limiting counters keyed to an account identifier.
StripeBilling details, if you subscribe. Card data goes to Stripe directly and never touches our servers.

Your rights

You can export everything we hold for you, or delete your account outright, from Your account in the app — no request form, no waiting on us. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and cancels any active subscription. If you have a question we haven’t answered, write to support@treducks.tech.

Delegated access

If you invite an assistant to manage your account, they can see and change the content in it while acting on your behalf. Their actions are recorded against their own identity in your activity log. You can revoke their access at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
